  • Hotel: Crown Plaza West Cairo 5-Stars or Steinberger Cairo 5-Stars.

  • Our Egypt-guided tour begins with a visit to the famous Egyptian Museum, which houses a vast collection of ancient Pharaonic artifacts.
  • The museum, which houses the fantastic Tutankhamun exhibit, also houses a large number of other ancient Egyptian artifacts.
  • This and all of your other sightseeing tours will be accompanied by one of our local Egyptologist guides, who will be a wealth of knowledge and full of enthusiasm about Egyptian history and their country in general.
  • Following the museum, we travel to Giza on the outskirts of Cairo to see the Sphinx and Egypt's three great pyramids.
  • The Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) is a magnificent man-made structure that stands 500 feet tall and 750 feet wide at its base. It is made of massive stone blocks with a hard limestone casing.
  • Over time, the casing has been stripped away, exposing the inner block structure.
  • The majestic sight of these enormous structures rising out of the desert, along with the smaller pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Mycerinus), is a breathtaking spectacle.
  • You will be able to climb down the pyramids if you wish, but your guide will not be able to accompany you (a limited number of tickets are available for the Great Pyramid).

  • We arrive in Luxor early this morning and cross the Nile to begin our tour of Luxor’s West Bank.
  • Home to the Valley of the Kings, the dusty tombs in this ancient burial site are still revealing their secrets today and so it remains one of the most important archaeological sites in the world.
  • Our tour includes several of these Pharaonic tombs, as well as the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Deir el-Medina (the Valley of the Craftsmen), and the huge Colossi of Memnon.
  • Your afternoon is then free to relax and enjoy the facilities of your 5-star hotel on the banks of the Nile.

  • Hotel: Sonesta St. George 5-Stars or Pavilion Winter 5-Stars.

  • Your morning is free today, and you can relax after your early start yesterday.
  • After lunch, we'll visit Karnak, the massive temple complex that was once the religious center of Thebes and Upper Egypt.
  • It was linked to Luxor by a long avenue lined with sphinxes, and the entire complex was linked to the Nile by a canal that carried the sacred boats of the god Amun.
  • Ramesses II built a smaller sphinx-lined avenue that leads to the massive pylon entrance.
  • Three chapels dedicated to the gods Amun, Khous, and Mut are located within the vast Courtyard.
  • The magnificent Hypostyle Hall has 134 towering columns, each carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, and the walls are adorned with hieroglyphic inscriptions.
  • You have the opportunity to enjoy a breathtaking sunrise hot air balloon ride over the West Bank (expect an early start to catch the sunrise as the balloon rises).
  • Hotel: Sonesta St. George 5-Stars or Pavilion Winter 5-Stars.

  • Early morning Breakfast and check out from Luxor hotel and drive for about 5 hours through the hills and desert to the Red Sea beach resort of Hurghada.
