Itinerary

  • On the first day of your Africa Safari tour, you will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and be transferred to your hotel in Arusha town.
  • Here, you will have the opportunity to meet your guide who will provide you with a briefing about your tour.
  • The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your leisure and relax after your flight.
  • The accommodations for this night include mid-range options such as Ilboru Safari Lodge, Arusha Planet Lodge, and Airport Planet Lodge, as well as budget options like Outpost Lodge, Tulia Boutique Hotel, and Green Mountain Hotel.

  • On the second day of your Africa Safari tour, you will have breakfast at your hotel and then be picked up by your guide for the drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
  • The park, located approximately 120 kilometers west of Arusha, is named after the shallow Salt Lake that covers around 70% of its land area.
  • During the flooding and drying seasons, this lake is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species.
  • While exploring the park, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and lions (if you're lucky).
  • Lake Manyara National Park is known for its diverse landscapes, which include open grassy plains, primate-filled woodlands, and baobab-dotted cliffs. After a full day in the park, you will be driven to your accommodation for the evening, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious meal in comfortable quarters.
  • Mid-range accommodations include Eileen's Tree Inn, Endoro Lodge, and Karatu Simba Lodge.

  • On the third day of your Africa Safari tour, you will have breakfast and then set off for the fertile highlands, where you will see wheat, coffee, and corn being grown by the Iraqw people.
  • As you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be able to admire the stunning views of the Ngorongoro Crater.
  • Later in the morning, you will arrive at the Serengeti National Park, which covers an impressive 15,000 square kilometers and features diverse landscapes and habitats such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah, and mountains.
  • During this time of year, you may have the opportunity to witness the incredible migration of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope as they search for food and water.
  • After a full day of game driving, you will head to the Seronera Valley for dinner and an overnight stay at one of the mid-range accommodations such as Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp, Embalakai Camp, or Sound of Silence.

  • On the fourth day of your Africa Safari tour, you will have a full day dedicated to game drives in the Serengeti National Park.
  • The Serengeti is known for its incredible wildlife population, including impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos.
  • However, it is most famous for the massive herds of migrating zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests. The migration patterns of these animals are influenced by rainfall and can vary from year to year.
  • In November and December, the herds move from the northern region, characterized by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south.
  • During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return to the north.
  • Along with the migratory herds, there is also the chance to spot resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, carrying out their roles in the circle of life.
  • After an unforgettable day of game viewing, you will return to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and overnight rest on the endless plains of the Serengeti.
  • Mid-range options for accommodation include Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp, Embalakai Camp, or Sound of Silence.

  • On the fifth day of your Africa Safari tour, you will depart from the Serengeti National Park and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater.
  • As you approach the crater, you will notice its unique and captivating appearance, which seems like a forgotten world hidden behind steep volcanic walls.
  • The Ngorongoro Crater is a pristine wilderness that includes vast savannahs, pockets of acacia woodlands, and shimmering lakes and swamps.
  • The crater was formed around two to three million years ago when a large volcano erupted and collapsed on itself.
  • The drive down into the crater is an adventure, and once you reach the crater floor, you will be surrounded by large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species.
  • The Ngorongoro Crater is also home to the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.
  • After a full day exploring the crater, you will head to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at mid-range options such as Eileen’s Tree Inn, Endoro Lodge, or Karatu Simba Lodge.

  • On the sixth day of your Africa Safari tour, you will travel to Tarangire National Park after breakfast.
  • Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants, and the park's diverse landscapes include seasonal swamps and savannahs with the Tarangire River running through it.
  • From the open top of your safari truck, you will have the opportunity to spot a variety of animals such as zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and giraffes.
  • You might also witness lions stalking their prey or leopards lounging in the trees above.
  • After enjoying lunch in the park, your adventure will come to an end, and you will return to Arusha with a wealth of photographs capturing the African wilderness that you can cherish forever.
