  • When you arrive, one of our representatives will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel to begin your journey.
  • They will assist you with getting settled in, give you a tour of the neighborhood, and go over the plans for tomorrow.

  • After breakfast at your hotel, let's embark on an Egyptian adventure to see one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops).
  • Three tiny pyramids the rest of the Giza plateau will be explored, including the sight of Khafre's (Kafren) pyramid - Khufu's son, the second-largest pyramid on the Giza site, the remains of the funeral temple, the pyramid of Mankawra (Mykerinus), and three small pyramids.
  • Then proceed to the Great Sphinx, a pharaoh's head with a lion's body dating from the reign of Chephren.
  • The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which is one of Chefren's pyramids.
  • This temple served two purposes... It was first used to cleanse the king's mummy before burial.
  • Second, it was used in the king's mummification process.
  • Following your visit to the pyramids, you will continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of the three pyramids rising from the sands. Then proceed to the Egyptian Museum, also known as the Cairo Museum, which houses an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities dating back some 5000 years of art and is considered the world's largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art.
  • The Egyptian Museum, which is filled with thousands of Pharaonic artifacts, houses over 250,000 genuine artifacts, with a representative amount on display and the remainder in storerooms.
  • Proceed to a nearby restaurant for lunch.
  • Then proceed to Old Cairo to see fascinating wonders such as the Hanging Church, which was built in the third and early fourth centuries.
  • In the Basilica style, as well.
  • After this day, return to your Cairo hotel.

  • After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor, where our representative will meet and assist you before you meet your guide outside the airport.
  • Begin your tour on the east bank of Luxor by visiting the complex of Karnak, Egypt's largest temple.
  • Karnak, known to the Ancient Egyptians as Ipet-Isut (Most Perfect of Places), was dedicated to the city's most powerful triad of God Amun, his consort Mut, and their son Khonsu, the moon god.
  • Karnak is a large site that spans 40 hectares (100 acres).
  • It was the most important religious and intellectual center in Ancient Egypt for over 1,500 years, especially during the empire's golden age.
  • It was founded during the Old Kingdom and became the national shrine during the 11th Dynasty, around 2134BC.
  • The temple complex grew over the centuries, with each pharaoh adding his shrines and monuments to leave his mark.
  • When the Egyptians converted to Christianity in the fourth century AD, they abandoned Karnak.
  • The Karnak Temple was linked to the Luxor Temple by a 3km long processional Avenue of Sphinxes, a portion of which is still visible, and the remainder is currently being excavated.
  • It will eventually be completely renovated to Luxor Temple.
  • Following your visit to Karnak, proceed to the Temple of Luxor, which was dedicated to the mighty Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.
  • The core of the temple was built by Amenhotep III, King Tutankhamun's grandfather (1390-1352 BC), and despite being embellished and expanded several times, its plan remains much simpler and more compact than the complex in Karnak.

  • There, you will have the opportunity to visit three tombs more than 64 tombs have been discovered in the Valley of the Kings, with more to come.
  • After breakfast at your hotel, you will begin your tour of Luxor's west bank with the Valley of the Kings (KV).
