Oman, a land of surprises, boasts breathtaking landscapes above and below water, from mighty mountains to undulating desert dunes in vibrant hues.

Salalah: The Tropical Jewel of Dhofar: Salalah, the capital of the Dhofar region, stands as a vibrant, subtropical city shaped by Oman's historical ties to East Africa. During the khareef (rainy season) from mid-June to mid-August, Salalah undergoes a magical transformation. Monsoon clouds from India envelop the region, turning the arid landscape into a lush oasis. Coconut-fringed beaches, banana plantations, and the sociable Dhofari culture create an enchanting tapestry reminiscent of Zanzibar in the heart of the Arabian Desert.
